My passion is helping people and businesses capture their 
personality and brand.

I’m Rob Coombe, a professional photographer living in Dorset on the spectacular Jurassic coast. I’ve had a passion for photography from a very young age. I have a great love for sport and, as much as I enjoyed playing as much as I could, I always had an urge to capture the action and could often be found at sporting events with camera in hand. I count myself extremely lucky as that passion continued to develop and I managed to turn it into my full-time career. 

As my photographic skills continued to grow, I developed a real love for photographing people in particular. Nothing gets my creative juices flowing quite like being given the opportunity to capture some portraits. Whether it’s someone well known and incredibly inspiring, or a corporate headshot for a professional businesses, there’s nothing I like more than working with light and making that person look great! My work is often published in reputable magazines and seeing the images in print is always fantastic.

My proudest photographic moment

I was very fortunate to photograph the wonderful David Attenborough when he was in my home town of Lyme Regis. He was everything you would hope that he is. Polite, charming, intelligent and of course just so wonderful to listen to. Speaking to him was an utter delight and taking his portrait is something I will never forget, a really proud moment in my career.
